WEATHER OR NOT
Because today’s Tropical Storm Hanna potentially could wipe out Super Saturday at the U.S. Open, the USTA announced it would hold its men’s final Monday at 5 p.m., if necessary.
Meanwhile, anticipating a late-morning or early-afternoon window, the USTA said it could hold the men’s semifinals simultaneously, with Roger Federer-Novak Djokavic beginning at 11 a.m. at Arthur Ashe Stadium and Rafael Nadal-Andy Murray starting at noon on the smaller Armstrong Stadium court.
