BRISTOL, Conn. — White powder from drywall reportedly caused a scare when it was discovered at ESPN’s mail facility in Connecticut on Monday.
Police were called to the scene in Bristol after the substance was found in three packages at the sports network’s central Connecticut headquarters.
Authorities gave an all-clear after the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection conducted a test and determined the powder came from drywall, WVIT-TV reported.
The FBI is investigating where the packages came from, according to the news station.
Several employees who were exposed to the substance had been decontaminated.
