The Fever are holding their breath about Caitlin Clark again.

The WNBA ALL-Star appeared to re-injure her groin with 39.6 seconds left in Tuesday’s 85-77 win over the Sun at TD Garden in Boston.

After making an assist in the waning seconds, Clark grabbed her groin and then walked to the bench in visible pain.

“No update. Just felt a little something in her groin,” Fever coach Stephanie White said after the game. “We’ll get it evaluated and see what happens from there.”

Clark injured her groin on June 24, forcing her to miss five consecutive games, including the Commissioner’s Cup final against the Lynx.

The second-year phenom was not available to reporters after the game.

The Fever were scheduled to play the Liberty on Wednesday night at the Barclays Center — their second straight game in an NBA arena.

“Certainly we’ll have another evaluation, probably a conversation, and we’ll see where we are,” White said. “But this group has played without her. At least we’ve got experience in that.”

Even before her groin injury, Clark missed another five games this season because of a left quad injury.

Clark finished the game Tuesday with 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
