Gary ‘BaBa Booey’ Dell’Abate of the Howard Stern show threw out the first pitch at the Mets game against the Pirates on Saturday afternoon and it was truly an awful display.

More after the jump.

The SNY crew had Dell’Abate in the booth and appropriately laughed at him.

“I was really hoping that wouldn’t end up on TV,” was Dell’Abate’s only defense.

And Chris “Mad Dog” Russo said, “”Oh, was it bad. If that were me I’d burn every tape. I’d be like Nixon. That was pathetic!”

If this happened last week, I would have thrown in a mandatory joke about him still being considered as the Mets’ fifth starter, but the rotation’s recent resurgence prevents me from doing so.
