Hulk Hogan’s shocking death Thursday at the age of 71 came just two days after his longtime manager and friend, Jimmy Hart, provided a positive update about the Hulkster.

Hart provided his remarks following an ominous report on Bubba The Love Sponge’s show that alleged Hart had been telling people Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was not doing well and couldn’t speak.

“Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal! Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!” Hart posted Tuesday on X.

Bubba previously provided in June a grim report on Hogan’s health that others had denied at the time, including ex-WCW boss Eric Bischoff and wife Sky Daily, as noted by Cageside Seats.

On Monday, a member of the show — headlined by a former Hogan friend, whom the wrestler later sued — said Hart had been telling people: “Hogan’s not doing well, he can’t speak, his (trachea) or whatever’s damaged and he’s having problems and it does not look good.”

Bubba further added he had been told Hogan had been transported to his Florida house and was in a hospital bed, although he said he wouldn’t describe it as hospice.

“He’s not in such dire needs that he needs to be in close proximity to an emergency facility,” Bubba said. “He’s stable enough to be at home … but I’ve been told that’s where he’s at now.

Here is the latest on wrestler Hulk Hogan’s death

“The security guard said the measures they went to make sure nobody saw him transported in an ambulance to his home was like Michael Jackson-type stuff. My source says allegedly it was all done through the loading docks and unmarked ambulances, followed by an escort, then followed by the backed up to the house with the garage door open, happened in the middle of the night.”

Hart’s update Tuesday did not specifically say that he spent time with Hogan, but mentioned Hogan’s son, Nick. Cageside Seats noted that the karaoke reference likely is about the weekly event held at Hogan’s Hangout restaurant in Clearwater, Fla.

Hart, known as “the Mouth of the South,” is perhaps best known for serving as Hogan’s manager during his time in WCW and WWF.

The 81-year-old appeared alongside Hogan on the Jan. 6, 2025 installment of “Raw” to usher in the Netflix era.

Medics were dispatched to Hogan’s Clearwater, Fla., home after a “cardiac arrest” call, according to TMZ.
