Torrie Wilson wouldn’t go there.

The WWE Hall of Famer was speaking on bodybuilder Mike O’Hearn’s podcast with O’Hearn and Mona Muresan about how professional opportunities have continued to come their way, in part due to the integrity they’ve had throughout their careers.

Wilson was asked about how she got there.

“I can’t say that I’m always [clean as a whistle] — I did Playboy, right? But in WWE, I was in an era that was very raunchy,” she answered. “There were things that I had to say no to. They wanted me to paint my boobs, like Sable did, and walk out there, naked. There are certain things that I turned down that maybe I could have gotten ahead with, but it just didn’t feel right.”

Earlier in the podcast, Wilson talked about not letting shade on social media hurt her feelings. While she said that typically internet hate is a reflection of jealousy and how perpetrators of it feel about themselves on the inside, she admitted that sometimes it can still bug her.

“When I was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, a lot of people were like, ‘She doesn’t deserve it. She’s not a wrestler like the girls are now.’ But times were so different, right? In a way it bothered me but in a way I wanted to be like, ‘F–k you guys. When did you ever wrestle?'”
