WWE star Alexa Bliss is devastated after the death of her pet pig, Larry-Steve.

Bliss confirmed Larry-Steve “gained his angel wings” on Tuesday — one day before his fourth birthday. The animal had fallen ill recently and was in a great deal of pain, she said.

“I’m so sorry we couldn’t find you the help you needed in time,” Bliss wrote on Instagram alongside a black and white photo of her hand holding Larry-Steve’s leg.

“Larry went very quickly, digressed really quickly and we don’t fully understand it yet,” Bliss said in a tearful video post on Instagram, after his passing.

On Monday, Bliss took to social media to share details about Larry’s ailing condition.

“Larry is very ill, can’t move or walk. In a lot of pain,” Bliss said, according to TMZ. “His usual pig vet said she is not comfortable treating him in his current condition.”

Bliss, who said she reached out to 13 different animal doctors, added, “Most vets are not comfortable treating pigs. If anyone knows of a pig vet please let me know.”

Bliss concluded her post with a message about the special bond she shared with her pet pig.

“Some people didn’t understand. But I want you to know Larry, YOUR LIFE MATTERED. we are completely heartbroken,” she wrote.

Fellow wrestling stars and athletes, including WWE alum Nikki Bella and former Yankees outfielder Johnny Damon, sent their condolences in the comments of Bliss’ post.
