Days after the WWE reinstated Hulk Hogan back into its Hall of Fame, some of the wrestling world’s top black athletes have spoken out.

WWE’s “New Day,” comprised of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods, said they feel “indifferent” about Hogan’s reinstatement, which the WWE announced Sunday.

“On a personal level, when someone makes racist and hateful comments about any race or group of people, especially to the degree that Hogan made about our people, we find it difficult to simply forget, regardless of how long ago it was, or the situation in which those comments were made,” the group said in a statement on Twitter.

“But we also do not respond with more feelings of hate. Instead, we just do not associate with the people who convey or have conveyed this negative and hurtful mindset. This instance will be no different. Perhaps if we see him make a genuine effort to change, then maybe our opinion will change with him. Time will tell.”

Fellow WWE superstar Titus O’Neil said he echoed New Day’s feelings, but released his own statement saying that Hogan is “entitled to reinstatement.”

Hogan had his contract terminated by the WWE in 2015 after a racist rant about his daughter Brooke’s black boyfriend in the infamous sex tape published by Gawker. He had been suspended for nearly three years before his ban was lifted, and he was allowed back into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Following his reinstatement, Hogan, 64, said he met with WWE superstars backstage at “Extreme Rules” in Pittsburgh, where he addressed the suspension.

Just met with the @WWE Superstars and on all levels the volume of love and support was overwhelming. I’ve been praying for this day and I finally feel like I made it back home. Only Love 4 the #WWEUNIVERSE brother HH
