Righthander Tyler Yates had surgery on his right shoulder yesterday and could miss the entire season, depleting the Mets’ already thin bullpen.

Yates, 27, went 2-4 with a 6.36 ERA as a rookie last year. He was moved to the bullpen during the season and appeared in 21 games, including seven starts. Most pitchers who have similar operations miss at least a year.

The news was better regarding Mike Cameron, who underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair cartilage in his left wrist Dec. 18. Cameron was granted permission to begin light swinging off a tee, and is expected to miss the first few weeks of the season.

The signings of Carlos Beltran and Pedro Martinez have caused Met ticket package sales to rocket.

Though single-game tickets don’t go on sale until Feb. 27, sales for season tickets, six-packs and ticket plans (weekend or weekday) are up more than 200 percent from last season at this time.
