Add Villarreal to the ever-growing list of big European clubs reportedly interested in signing Jozy Altidore. According to http://www.as.comhttp://www.as.com/futbol/articulo/futbol-delantero-altidore-agenda-submarino/dasftb/20080430dasdaiftb_9/Tes, the Spanish First Division side are eyeing the Red Bull 18-year-old, who has scored goals in each of their last two games.
Altidore _ who scored four goals in the Under-20 World Cup and is slated to play for the U.S. in this summerâs Beijing Olympic Games _ drew interest from Real Madrid last year. And Colorado assistant Gary Smith _ who used to scout for Arsenal, Altidoreâs favorite team coming up _ was at Giants Stadium watching him play Sunday, presumably for the Gunners.

Altidore could actually give Villeral an all-North Jersey front line someday. Giuseppe Rossi was born in Teaneck and raised in Clifton, although he has chosen to play for Italy, where his parents immigrated from. The 21-year-old has 11 goals this year.
