Enter the ESRB’s free mobile app. It lets parents (or anyone) take a snapshot of a video game box and within seconds get all the info behind the rating. And it works with both iPhones and Android phones.

It’s an ingenious little program, really, at once because it is a free way for parents to shop responsibly, and also because nobody can really claim ignorance with their purchases anymore.

The app will be here when it’s released. It’s free. And, ye gods, it would be a very smart thing to get.
