Arkadium – which reaches more than 5 million people every month – recently announced that they’ve acquired Advergame.com, representing their first foray into redefining “advergames” to brand marketers and online publishers worldwide.

An example? Arkadium’s online fishing game, Hooked, made to promote National Geographic Channel’s latest No. 1 series, “Hooked.” It’s all about catching monster fish just like on the show. Check it out here.

Players choose their level of difficulty, pick a lure and head out to exotic locals for race against the clock challenges. After you’re done, you throw the fish back in the water.
