Once upon a time, I thought “Army of Two” could be my game. It started off great…and after about two hours, I realized it really wasn’t the game for me. But some of the peeps I know thought it was rockin’. Or, at least, worthy of playing for the achievement points.

Anyway, EA is putting out a sequel to the game, called “Army of Two: The 40th Day.” Couldn’t tell you what the title refers to, seeing as how I never made it through the game, but I bet it makes tons of sense.

While they’re putting the game together, they’ve created a weapon design contest for the game, which runs through July 12. It’s your chance to submit your ultimate weapon for inclusion in the upcoming “Army of Two” game.

What you need to know to submit your gun/grenade/killing machine:

To enter the contest, you’ll need to submit an image of your weapon and a brief 200-word description. Contest rules are here. Once your design in in, the community will start voting on whether they like it or not. Starting July 20, the top weapons will be reviewed by the development team who will then pick the two best designs.
