We love all things Bat and all things Bombshell here at the Awesome Stuff column, so what better way to combine the two than with this exclusive reveal from our friends at DC Collectibles: The “Bombshells” Batgirl statue.

Va-va-va-voom!

DC’s Bombshells line reimagines the company’s strongest women characters as 1940s- and ‘50s-style archetypes: sort of Rosie-the-Riveter-meets-Pin-Up-Girl. So far, we’ve seen Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Harley Quinn

Now, we get Bombshell Batgirl in aviatrix regalia.

As you can see, the statues are certainly provocative in that good-girl-art way.

The statue was designed by Ant Lucia, sculpted by Tim Miller and stands 10.5 inches high. It’ll be in stores January 2014 and will run a hefty but worth-it-to-me $125. This ain’t kid stuff, you know.

And even though she’s part of a different line of statues, I think Chainsaw Wonder Woman would approve!

Wanna know how they make things like this? DC Collectibles has posted “A Look at Digital Sculpting,” including a time-lapse video showing the digital sculpt of a not-yet-released Lex Luthor action figure. Check it out here
