The Alexander Wang/H&M collaboration isn’t the only hot fashion partnership this fall.
Best Buy has enlisted a trio of the CFDA’s premier designers, Nanette Lepore, Issac Mizrahi and Anna Sui, each to design a line of tech accessories to be sold exclusively at the retail giant in October.
Starting Wednesday, the collections, which include laptop, smartphone and tablet cases ranging from $29.99 to $39.99, will be available for pre-order on BestBuy.com/DesignerSeries.
“The consumers were telling us that they wanted to personalize their device and bring a little more fashion and trend into their everyday life,” said Best Buy’s vice president of accessories, Mary Ortizcazarin. “We believe that by bringing in products like this, we’ll bring more customers into our store.”
All three designers had input in terms of which hues and prints would be incorporated into their collections. Sui’s designs feature playful patterns; polka dots and florals highlight Mizrahi’s line. Lepore’s accessories, meanwhile, will express the designer’s favorite elements, which include “hand embroidery, gorgeous sequins, intricate lace details [and] bold prints,” as she told WWD.
The collections will be available in-store and online starting Oct. 5.
