Oh my gourd.

I walked into the office today to find an excellent surprise on my desk. A wonderful, carved pumpkin bearing a monstrous demon tentacle from The Darkness II
.

Badass, right?

The pumpkin was carved by the brilliant Brooklyn-based Hugh McMahon, who has been mutilating melons and such for our pleasure since 1976.

The Darkness II, of course, concerns Jackie Estacado — man and mobster who currently controls the power of The Darkness — and his battle against those who would steal those demon powers for their own nefarious reasons.

The Darkness II will be hitting the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in February.
