Yes, yes. Not a music blog. But they look kind of like they could be in a video game. And they probably play video games. And they were on Ozzfest this summer…and Ozzy’s song is in the new “Madden”…and that concludes today’s six degrees of video game separation game.

Chthonic, from Taiwan, is playing at the Highline Ballroom on Sunday night. It’s a sight to be seen. The bandmates’ names are: Jesse the Infernal, Freddy Left Face of Maradou, Doris Thunder Tears, CJ Dispersed Fingers (on synth natch), Dani Azathothian Hands and Su-Nung the Bloody String. One of them even plays the freakin’ 1000 year old erhu. You really can’t go wrong here.
