Without further ado, the following games are available for download this week.

Now available via your Wii’s Virtual Console

Dragon’s Curse (TurboGrafx16, 1 player, 600 Wii Points)

Hahaha, “dragons.” Side-scrolling action role-playing where you’ve gotta fight various dragon bosses to find the Salamander Cross to break the curse that’s turned you into an ugly Lizard-Man. (Not to be confused with the Lizard King, unfortunately.) Um, and also a Mouse-Man, Piranha-Man, Tiger-Man and Hawk-Man.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES, 1 player, 600 Wii Points)

Heroes, half-shell, you know the drill. Rescue April O’Neil from the evil Shredder. Like most teenage boys, scarfing pizza gives you the energy you’ll need to defeat ol’ metal face.

Star Fox 64 (Nintendo 64, 1-4 players, 1,000 Wii Points)

Fly an Arwing, complete 15 missions to reach the final objective: a showdown on the home planet of the interplanetary tyrant, Andross. While you’re recovering from all that space travel between missions, you get to watch real-time 3D movies about the Star Fox team and their struggle against Andross, a big, bad ape emperor.

Wednesday on the Xbox Live Arcade

HBO’s “Rome” is officially dunzo, but that doesn’t mean Egyptian hijinks must end. In the action puzzler “Luxor 2”, you’ll go through 88 levels of shooting and destroying magical balls (ha) that threaten the pyramids at the end of their paths. There’s a 100-level player ranking system and new arcade-style playing mode called the Pharaoh’s Challenge only for XBLA users. Play it through for 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points. It’ll cost 800 Microsoft Points.

And if you missed it last week, the PlayStation Store has…

PlayStation “Home” Video (free): Ooooh! A video of the upcoming real-time, 3D community that you can watch in HD resolution.

Major League Baseball 2K7 Demo (free): Major League Baseball 2K7 redefines the pure baseball video game experience with true, next-gen details, all-new throwing mechanics and a revolutionary presentation system. Whatever that might be.

New Warhawk Trailer (free): A remake of the original PlayStation hit with new game play footage from the all-multiplayer, fully immersive online game for the PS3 that puts you in a full-scale war experience, both air and land.

Super Rub’A’Dub Trailer (free): A look at the forthcoming downloadable PS3 title, bringing bathtub fun to life. (Uhhh, oh-kaay.) Fully controlled by the SIXAXIS™ wireless controller motion sensors, players guide their rubber ducklings to safety from sharks in colorful water-filled tubs.
