Baby got peach back.

In October, Apple released a batch of redesigned emojis for its iOS 10.2 software. The 72 new emojis included an astronaut, a face palm and the long-awaited avocado.

But to the dismay of iPhone owners, the updated emojis included a revamped peach that looked more like a fruit — and less like a butt.

In the era of the Kardashians, the peach emoji became a cheeky (pun intended) icon for the derrière and a go-to for sexting.

Social media erupted with disbelief. “Hey @Apple BRING BACK THE PEACH BUTT EMOJI OR RIOT!”@BadwoldTX tweeted.

And TechCrunch contributor Devin Coldewey wrote an ode to the peach butt, wondering why Apple would replace something if it’s not better than the original.

Luckily, the nation’s sexting disaster is over. Apple released a new beta version of iOS 10.2 to developers on Nov. 14, and the peach butt emoji was restored to its former glory.

The emoji will be included in the final version of the operating system, expected to be released in the next few weeks.
