You’ll have to excuse Facebook’s Carolyn Everson if she is a little late arriving at the Consumer Electronics Show this year.

The plane carrying the social network’s top marketing boss had just left Newark Liberty airport on Monday when something went wrong and the pilot was forced to depressurize the cabin.

The plane was then forced to fly at a low altitude so the passengers would have enough air to breathe.

The flight was then returned to Newark, according to Everson, who took to Facebook to post a message about her scary experience.

The incident shook up Facebook’s most senior liaison to the company’s most important global clients.

“Amazing what goes through your mind in 90 minutes when you are not sure of the outcome,” wrote Everson.

Everson did not return e-mails asking if she immediately got on another flight to Las Vegas — or was forced to catch a flight on Tuesday.

Her post was liked by more than 450 of her friends and followers.
