Seriously, they’re just giving it away.

This week’s XBLA game is going to be freeee…for a limited time, of course. You’ll be able to get your dinero-less copy of “Undertow” – an aquatic based shooter – from 2am PST on Wednesday through 11:59pm Sunday. The game normally goes for 800 Microsoft points. SOLD.

Oh, and while you’re at it, on Thursday at 7pm PST, you’ll be able to play against the “Undertow” development team. Fun fun!

Meanwhile, earlier this week, EA announced that they’ll be releasing “Battlefield Heroes” this summer for the PC as a free download. It’ll be a cartoon-style shooter that’ll bring “classic Battlefield gameplay to to an all new mass audience.”

They’re also claiming that there’s going to be a built-in matchmaking system to “ensure that players of equal skill are paired together for fair play.” Guess we’ll have to wait and see how that works out.
