A meeting to address the recent controversy about “diversity” at Google reportedly was canceled Thursday after the company said right-wing trolls published the names of their employees online.
Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai sent out a company email that said the event was canceled after employees expressed concern “about their safety,” according to the Wall Street Journal.
A group of right-wing bloggers allegedly published the names of employees who were expected to ask questions at the town hall-style event.
Pichai scheduled the meeting after engineer James Damore was fired.
Damore penned a manifesto that argued that woman are biologically inferior to men and are more prone to be “neurotic.”
