Hey you PS3 owners! Guess what? Starting tomorrow, you can download “flOw” from the Playstation Store for a mere $7.99.
In it, you’ll pilot “aquatic organisms” (a.k.a bastardized jellyfish or eel-lookin’ things) through “surreal biospheres,” while chowing down on other organisms, evolving and advancing throughout the deep, dark abyss. To get past enemy creatures, use bursts of speed, stealth and a lethal bite, all of which increase your organism’s size and speed.
And, the best part is that “flOw” is in full, glorious, brilliant, 1080p – kind of takes the sting out of the fact that a lot of actual PS3 games aren’t 1080p, doesn’t it? No? Oh. Um. Well then.
Also available tomorrow, a downloadable version of arcade classic “Q-Bert” ($4.99) and a free demo of the upcoming 1080p (so they say) game, “Ridge Racer 7.”
