A cappella groups performing (and acting out) classic Nintendo songs (and scenes) are not a new phenomenon, in any possible way, by any stretch of the imagination. Heck, I remember seeing the MIT/Wellesley group, the Toons, doing it about five years ago and their version dates back to 1999. Still, it’s pretty entertaining to watch. If only to remind yourself that there’s someone out there who’s nerdier than you are.
