This job is the pits!

Communications employees at social networking giant Facebook routinely blow-dry CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s armpits before big speeches, a new book claims.

Zuckerberg — who became famous for his perspiration during a televised 2010 interview — “is consumed by his public image,” according to a Bloomberg review of Steven Levy’s new book, “Facebook: The Inside Story.”

The 35-year-old wants to look cool and dry instead of sweaty and nervous, and has assistants make sure his famous gray T-shirts are immaculate before he takes the stage at public events, according to the report.

“I doubt this is true,” a Facebook spokesperson told Business Insider when presented with the claim. “If so, it would have been at our communications team’s request, but surely anyone who has ever worn a gray T-shirt can relate.”

After a Twitter comms employee shared the report, CEO Jack Dorsey chimed in that he has never asked his employees to blow-dry his pits, but would be “happy to provide that service for anyone on our comms team if needed.”
