Here’s a look at the latest “Mass Effect 3” trailer, titled “Reinstated.” In it, you’ve got “Fem Shep” – seriously, that term, eyeball roll – getting officially reinstated into the fight to save the universe from destruction at the hands of those dastardly Reapers.

As in the previous two games in the trilogy, you’ve got the choice between playing as a male Shepard or a female Shepard. It’s a conceit that I’m particularly fond of – and not just because I got to give my lady Shepard awesome black lipstick. Actually, I have to give props to a video game that breaks tradition by not casting its female character as a half-dressed sexpot.

Anyway, check out the trailer here and, don’t forget, you can start dabbling with the demo when it launches worldwide tomorrow (February 14).
