Capcom’s building up buzz for the holiday release of it’s new “Resident Evil” game, “Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.” The new trailer shows off what you can expect while on the ground in Raccoon City when the USS (Umbrella Security Service) dukes it out against the US Spec Ops, zombies and BOWs.

(Is it just me or do some of those peeps from the trailer look and sound an awful lot like Tali from “Mass Effect”…)

“RE: ORC” is set in September 1998, between the outbreaks seen in “Resident Evil 2” and “Resident Evil 3,” and is told from the POV of the USS. Fan favorites – allies and enemies alike, including Leon S. Kennedy – will pop up throughout.

“Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City” hits stores Dec. 31, for Xbox 360 and PS3.
