Let’s just pretend that you were never tempted to bid on that $15,000 Darth Vader Wii that someone put up on eBay a few years ago, purely because it was all black and cool looking.

Well, Nintendo heard your brain waves loud and clear. Kind of. They’ve announced that starting this holiday season, they’ll be releasing a new all-black version of the Wii Remote, bundled with an all black Wii MotionPlus accessory. To match, they’re also selling an all-black Nunchuk. No pricing has been announced yet. Not quite sure why, but this all-black remote stuff looks cool to me.

Nintendo also made a couple more announcements. Namely:

–Wii Fit Plus: Due Oct. 4 ($99.99), it’s a new version of the original weight loss game, with more exercises and activities. Now, you’ll be able to customize workouts to target specific areas or to fit within certain amounts of time. Bundled with a Wii Balance Board, it will replace the existing Wii Fit game, so if you want the original, better buy it now. The standalone game will retail for $19.99.

–New DSi color ways: Starting Sept.13, Nintendo goes after the minimalist and Pretty Pink Pony girl contingency with a white and hot pink version of the Nintendo DSi. Like the other colors, they’ll sell for $169.99 a pop.
