reported that Nicole Kidman is the new face of Nintendo, at least in the UK. (She’ll be seen in “TV adverts” launching there this week.)

She’s promoting the new “More Brain Training” game, as Nintendo hopes that just by touching a DS, she’ll be able to pull more females into the gaming world. Meanwhile, Kidman’s apparently said that the game’s exercises are “a great way to keep my mind feeling young.” (You know, as opposed to looking young, which is what lots of Botox and soft lighting are for.)

Not sure what’s more disturbing about this situation, the popularity of all these brain training/puzzle/I’m-smarter-than-you games or that Nicole Kidman was the best they could come up with.
