Another part of the live action “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” web series is up now? Must be a Tuesday. The new “9 minute” short – it’s about 6 minutes of actual action, the rest is “previously” and credits – picks up where last week’s premiere episode left off, with Jax facing off against Kano and Sonya rescuing herself.

More than 5 million views were logged when Part 1 premiered, making it one of the most-watched videos on YouTube over the week, according to Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and Machinima.com.

I’m guessing things are going to start picking up soon since this is Part 2 of a nine-part series, which leaves only seven more shorts left for promised characters like Scorpion, Sub Zero, Cyrax and Sector to make their promised appearances.
