The other day, Eidos sent over the Hitman Triology, a box set of the three console Hitman games for the PS2, retailing at the ultra bargain price of $29.99. Initially, I thought “random.” Then, I found out that Fox is doing a Hitman movie! Called “Hitman,” due out on October 12. It’s based on the PC game “Hitman: Codename 47” and stars Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47. Here’s the trailer (“Brilliant in his execution”):

While trailers are mostly always deceiving, this one does look promising. Yes, it’s true that I voluntarily watched and enjoyed the movie versions of “Doom,” “Resident Evil” and “Mortal Kombat,” but I swear I hated “BloodRayne.” So there.
