And you thought Sonic was fast!
A group of over 200 volunteers from SEGA of America and Youth UpRising joined forced with organizers from KaBOOM! in order to build a new playground for children in the East Oakland area last Friday.
The building of the playground, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog and the release of Sonic Generations, only took one day and was inspired by children’s drawings from the community center in East Oakland as well as Sonic himself.
