Have you heard the news? The Smashing Pumpkins are on tour again. Well, half of the Pumpkins – namely Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. Everyone else has boycotted.

Anyway, to prove that the Pumpkins are still hip, 20 years after they formed, they’ve put together a new single, “G.L.O.W.” which is being released exclusively through “Guitar Hero World Tour.” This is the first time that a band’s actually recorded a song specficially for the GH franchise.

Check out Corgan doing a bit of motion capture for his cameo, where he’ll be playing himself, playing “Today.”
