The race is back on to subsidize your new iPhone.

Sprint said Thursday it will lease an iPhone 6s (retail price: $649) to its subscribers for as little as $1 a month if they trade in their iPhone 6. The No. 4 wireless carrier appeared to be reacting to rival T-Mobile’s move to rent the new Apple smartphone for $5 a month.

Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure tweeted that his company has an “ample” supply of the smartphone.

The carriers are both seriously undercutting their bigger rivals AT&T and Verizon, as well as a new, $32-a-month lease plan announced by Apple earlier this month. It includes an AppleCare warranty.
