The Taliban launched an app for Android smartphone users on Friday in a bid to spread its message digitally, but they didn’t get far — it was removed two days later.
Google told Bloomberg News on Sunday that the terror group’s app was no longer available in the company’s Play Store. The app had featured videos and official statements released by the Taliban, who have waged war in Afghanistan for more than 14 years.
