While the movie world is gearing up for the release of the new CGI “TMNT” movie, the game world gets to indulge in nostalgia by playing the same game you might remember from the coin-op arcade days. At a mere 400 Microsoft Points (the equivalent of 5 bucks), you’ll get the original seven levels, 2 to 4 player co-op modes and voice-chat capability.

Having just seen the movie – that Michelangelo is a hoot, dude! – the first thing that came to mind was that it’ll probably make a pretty fun video game. The movie totally had the whiff of next-gen graphics to it, there’s lots of jumping from building to building, cool looking bad guys and plenty of silly dialogue. Well lookee, lookee – Ubisoft’s put out a game based on “TMNT” today! What a coincidence.
