PHILADELPHIA – Authorities say eight people have been injured during an apparent building explosion with collapse Monday morning in South Philadelphia.
We’re told at least two row homes have been affected by what witnesses report was a blast that occurred shortly after 11 a.m.
SkyFox overhead shows one building appears to be almost completely down, and there’s significant damage to a second.
A significant amount of debris has been blown into the street near the scene, on the 400 block of Daly Street.
All of the injured — including an infant hurt by flying glass and that baby’s mother and father — were initially taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
