$12M suit vs. Lance
An insurer has sued Lance Armstrong to recoup $12 million it paid him in bonuses for his Tour de France wins.
Noting he “perpetuated what may well be the most outrageous, coldhearted and elaborate lie in the history of sports,” SCA Promotions demanded the cyclist repay his ’02, ’03 and ’04 bonuses in a suit filed yesterday in Dallas. Armstrong didn’t respond to a request for comment.
