A total of now 14 people in Wisconsin have been tested for coronavirus — including a patient who on Thursday became the 12th person confirmed as having it, a state health official said Friday.
The confirmed patient, from Dane County, contracted the deadly virus while in China to celebrate the Chinese New Year. He remains isolated at home and is “making a very good recovery,” said Tom Haupt, an epidemiologist with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Five other people are still awaiting test results. Results for the other eight came back negative, officials said.
