Pumpkins are really big this year — literally.

A New Hampshire man won an annual contest at the Rochester Fair last month with a 1,975-pound pumpkin.

The giant gourd took home the top honors, but it didn’t beat out the country’s heaviest-ever pumpkin, which broke a record last year after weighing in at 2,058 pounds.

California native John Hawkley currently holds the US record for heaviest pumpkin — beating out another West Coast farmer who only had the title for a week.
