Two volunteers who set out to rescue flood victims in Texas — and went missing along with a pair of buddies when their small boat got caught in rushing waters — have been confirmed dead, a report said Wednesday.

The other two men are still missing, said the Daily Mail, which had a pair of journalists on the boat, too. The reporters were saved, along with a seventh member of the group.

Roaring water had steered the group’s boat toward a live electric pole on the Greens Bayou around Houston about 3 p.m. Monday, prompting all seven men to jump out to avoid electrocution, according to ABC-13.

Three of the men, including the two journalists, were found by rescuers hanging to tree limbs.

Two — Jorge Perez, 33, a married father of two, and Yahir Vizueth, 25 — were confirmed dead, and Vizueth’s brother, Benjamin Vizueth, 31, and Gustavo Rodriguez-Hernandez, 40, are still missing.
