Two United Airlines planes collided at a California airport — creating a jolt that felt like an “earthquake” to some passengers, according to authorities and reports.

One of the plane’s pushed back from the gate at San Francisco International Airport and struck the tail of the other, which was parked, around 9:10 p.m. on Monday evening, a United spokesperson told The Post.

The Boston-bound aircraft was parked and loading passengers when a Denver-bound flight struck its tail, Newstalk 1090 reported.

The collision occurred in an area where air traffic controllers do not communicate with flights, the FAA told the Post.

Passengers on the Boston-bound aircraft compared the shocking jolt during the minor collision to an earthquake, KGO reported.

“I think that’s probably a good description,” flight expert and NTSB News Talk Host Max Trescott told the outlet.

“You know, we’re used to sitting in an airplane at the gate, and things are very calm and quiet, and this definitely would feel very unusual. I think earthquake is probably a good description,” Trescott said.

No one was injured during the collision, authorities said.

“We arranged for different aircraft to take our customers to their destinations,” the UA spokesperson added.

The FAA is currently investigating the cause of the collision.
