Honduras’ foreign ministry says 2,000 people in the migrant caravan have returned to their home country, CNN reported Saturday.

In a press release, the government added another 400 will soon be on their way back from the Honduran border with Mexico.

The country’s president, Juan Orlando Hernández, promised returnees offers of jobs and other types of aid.
