The Democratic candidate was awarded by votes by winning the statewide tally, along with the state’s 1st Congressional District. Maine’s 2nd Congressional District -- representing a single electoral vote -- has yet to be called. Maine and Nebraska are the only states that do not award their electoral votes on a winner-take-all basis.– Kenneth Garger

Trump to take majority of Nebraska's electoral votes, Fox projects
President Trump will take the lion’s share of Nebraska’s four electoral votes, Fox News projected early Monday morning.
Trump won three of the Cornhusker State’s electoral votes but Democratic challenger Joe Biden won the fourth, the network said.
Nebraska and Maine are the only states in the nation that don’t award their electoral votes on a winner-take-all basis.

Kanye throws in towel, turns to 2024
Kanye West threw in the towel on his presidential run in the 2020 election and hinted at another long-shot bid four years from now.
West made the concession in a tweet after appearing on the ballot in 12 states in the presidential election between Democratic nominee Joe Biden and President Donald Trump.

West appeared on the ballot in 12 states and notched more than a thousand votes in all of the contests, according to preliminary tallies by The Associated Press. In Colorado, West got 6,000.

Ore. is first state to legalize magic mushrooms, other street drugsPsilocybin mushrooms, more commonly known as shrooms or magic mushrooms. (Richard Vogel/AP)Oregon on Tuesday became the first state to legalize magic-mushroom therapy — and decriminalize small amounts of all street drugs. The mushroom bill, Measure 109, allows trained “facilitators” to give patients psilocybin — the psychedelic compound in the drug — as a mental-health treatment and guide them through trips at licensed centers. The state also made history with the approval of a bill that decriminalizes the possession of small amounts of drugs including heroin, cocaine, Oxycodone and methamphetamine, according to Oregon Live.-Natalie O'Neill
