ALGIERS — A bomb squad found 25 more bodies at the gas plant commandeered by Islamist hostage takers, a security official said yesterday.

It was not immediately clear whether the dead were hostages or members of the group behind the four-day siege in the Sahara.

Algerian authorities said Saturday that 23 hostages and 32 captors were dead and that the toll might rise.
