A day at the beach became a lot more exciting when nearly $2 million worth of cocaine washed up on a New Zealand beach on Wednesday.

The drugs were discovered in blue packages scattered along the shore of Bethells Beach on the country’s west coast, according to The Guardian.

Police confirmed the packages contained cocaine — and said more drugs may wash ashore.

“There is a small possibility that further packages may turn up on the beach, and we ask any members of the public to contact us immediately if they do,” Detective Inspector Colin Parmenter of Waitematä police said in a statement.

New Zealand has one of the highest rates of cocaine use per capita in the world, The Guardian said.

Jose Sousa-Santos, a researcher at Massey University in New Zealand, told the paper the cocaine likely came from Peru or Columbia, where the drug costs roughly $7,500 per kilogram.

In New Zealand, the same kilogram is worth $250,000, the paper said.
