A 36-year-old rock fan collapsed and died at a King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard concert in Colorado on Friday, according to reports.

Mathew Gawiak was watching the Aussie rockers at the Field of Vision Festival in Denver when he complained about feeling dizzy just before 9 p.m., less than an hour into the show, Westword reported.

He went into cardiac arrest during the seventh song of the set and the band stopped their show to allow medical personnel to extract the “diehard Gizzard fan,” according to reports and his family.

Gawiak, a geospatial scientist, was at the show with his brother Chris, who shared the heartbreaking moment his brother died.

“As myself and our friends went to escort him out, he dropped to the floor, and was unresponsive,” Chris wrote on the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Reddit page.

“Luckily, there were 2 trauma nurses in the crowd who responded quickly and started CPR while we fought off the overzealous and sent runners for paramedics to take him to the medical tent.”

EMTs attempted for two hours to stabilize Gawiak who was pronounced dead while en route to an area hospital.

“I just want to say thank you to everyone for the outpouring of support you’ve shown my family,” Chris continued in the Reddit post.

The heartfelt tribute revealed that Mathew’s family and friends gathered to watch the band’s concert on a live stream the following night and were shocked and grateful to see a a touching memorial for their loved one.

“Hearing everyone chant his name brought all of us to tears. “Float Along FIll Your Lings” was his all-time favorite closer, and it’s still one of mine.”

Gawiak was remembered as a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend in a GoFundMe.

“His goal in life was to make the people he loved happy. I find some peace knowing that he was surrounded by music and a community that was special to him and that he was truly happy in the moments before he tragically passed away,” his wife Ali Zangle wrote on the fundraiser.
