Four children were injured — including one seriously — after a school bus crashed in New Jersey and flipped on its side Thursday morning.

The bus was traveling eastbound on I-195 in Wall Township in Monmouth county when it collided with a GMC van and overturned around 7:30 a.m., according to New Jersey State Police.

The driver and three children suffered minor injuries while one child was seriously hurt.

All five were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

The driver of the GMC van walked away unscathed.

Video from the scene showed the yellow school bus sitting on its side on the shoulder of the highway with a gaping hole in the roof — possibly used by the passengers to get out.

Hours later, all eastbound lanes remained shut down while officials investigation.

No additional information is available at this time, cops said.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
