BOGOTA, Colombia — Four men have been arrested in the slaying of an American anti-drug agent, officials said yesterday.

The four are members of a gang that specializes in robberies, said Gen. José Roberto Leon, Colombia’s National Police director.

Drug Enforcement Administration agent James Watson was probably killed in a robbery, not because of his law-enforcement work, officials have said.
