A terrified 13-year-old boy jumped from a roof to escape a killer Louisiana dad Sunday — the only child to survive a massacre that killed eight other kids.

The teen broke his leg as he escape crazed 31-year-old Army vet Shamar Elkins, who opened fire in the house in Shreveport just after 6 a.m.

The deranged dad murdered seven of his kids and one of their cousins in his early-morning rampage.

The surviving boy’s relationship to Elkins was not known.

All but one of the slain children were believed to have been shot in the head.

Another dead victim was reportedly shot as they tried to escape onto the roof.

Elkins, who was going through a divorce, also shot his estranged wife and a girlfriend in the head before carjacking a vehicle, sparking a police chase that ended with cops killing him in neighboring Bossier City. Both women survived the attack.

The madman’s wife, Shaneiqua Pugh, the mother of four of his children, was due in court with her husband Monday as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings.

The other wounded woman, Christina Snow, is reported to be the mother of Elkin’s three other children.

One of the shot women was able to escape to a neighbor’s house and call 911 despite her grievous wounds, according to police.

The dead children were identified as: Jayla Elkins, 3; Shayla Elkins, 5; Kayla Pugh, 6; Layla Pugh, 6; Markaydon Pugh, 10; Sariahh Snow, 11; Khedarrion Snow, 6; and Braylon Snow, 5.
